Halloween in Sammamish

While I was on the road, Jillian and the kids flew to Seattle to meet me.

Jordan took Amtrak down to Salem, Oregon to visit friends at Willamette University while Jillian and the boys celebrated Halloween with Aunt Holly and Uncle Michael.

Navy Ball

Jill and I got dressed up and attended the US Navy Birthday Ball this year.  Still young at 234 years.  We enjoyed dinner with our NATO Military Cooperation colleagues from the Swedish Navy and the Canadian Navy.

Paris Art and Architecture Trip

Jillian took the boys to Paris for a field trip.  They all have A Child’s History of Art in their curricula this year.  Riding the Thalys high speed train is always fun.  The scenery screams by at 180 mph.

A friend wanted to get rid of some apples, so we picked a bushel.  Applesauce, pies and freezer packs in work today!
