While I was on the road, Jillian and the kids flew to Seattle to meet me.

Jordan took Amtrak down to Salem, Oregon to visit friends at Willamette University while Jillian and the boys celebrated Halloween with Aunt Holly and Uncle Michael.

Jill and I got dressed up and attended the US Navy Birthday Ball this year.  Still young at 234 years.  We enjoyed dinner with our NATO Military Cooperation colleagues from the Swedish Navy and the Canadian Navy.

Jillian took the boys to Paris for a field trip.  They all have A Child’s History of Art in their curricula this year.  Riding the Thalys high speed train is always fun.  The scenery screams by at 180 mph.

A friend wanted to get rid of some apples, so we picked a bushel.  Applesauce, pies and freezer packs in work today!

Zach sprained his foot while goofing off with his brothers.  Reduced mobility for a while.

Jillian is taking the boys on a field trip to Paris this week.  Experiencing art and architecture in the first person is an opportunity that should not to be squandered!  Study, study, study…..
