Lego Man goes to London

Nate decided to expand the movie he filmed yesterday.
Starting with a storyboard to get the scenes sequenced correctly, he took about 400 still shots to create the stop-motion portion of the movie.
Soundtrack is from the German techno band, Kraftwerk ca. 1975.

Nate Turns 11

We hit our favorite Belgian Friterie for lunch.  Nate likes ketchup while Sam likes his frites plain.  Jordan prefers pita sauce, Jillian likes diablo, Zach loves curry and Dave likes them all, except mayonnaise.  Nate opened his presents after lunch.

Scouts’ Candle-lighting Ceremony

Troop 325 conducted a candle-lighting ceremony in the SHAPE ceremonial entrance. General Karl-Heinz Lather officiated while the portrait of General Ike Eisenhower looked on.

Last Dive

Zach and Nate passed their qualification dive.  Their last step is passing the physiology test.  Time to hit the books and study, study!

Brady Bunch

We watched the Brady Bunch Hawaii episodes last night.  Great fun!

Bastogne Walk

The Scouts participated in this year’s Bastogne Walk, commemorating the 65th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge.

Zach’s Scout Troop did a 10-miler.  Sam and Nate did a 5-miler.  They awoke Saturday morning to about an inch of snow.  That rapidly melted and created realistic conditions…they hiked about 1/3 of the way through calf-deep [...]

Bastogne Historic Walk this weekend.
